Moro Rock is a granite dome rising roughly 75 meters above the surrounding ridgeline in Sequoia National Park, accessible via a 400-step staircase carved into the rock face in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The summit, at 2,050 meters elevation, provides a panoramic view of the Great Western Divide and the deep gorge of the Middle Fork of the Kaweah River, roughly 1,200 meters below.
