Canadian Museum for Human Rights sits at The Forks in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, where the Red and Assiniboine rivers meet. Designed by Antoine Predock and opened in 2014, the building features an alabaster-clad glass tower rising 23 stories, meant to represent a dove's wings. The museum is the first national museum established outside Canada's capital region and the only museum in the world solely dedicated to the evolution and celebration of human rights.
