The Agadir Corniche runs 6 kilometers along the Atlantic coast in the southern Moroccan resort city, rebuilt after the 1960 earthquake that destroyed the pre-existing medina. The paved promenade connects the Marina at its northern end to Agadir Beach, passing cafes, restaurants, and palm-lined lawns. The corniche is a primary evening gathering space for residents and visitors, with moderate evening temperatures most of the year.
