Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk, Rehoboth Beach: How to Visit and What to Do Nearby

Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk runs roughly 1 mile along the Atlantic in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, first built in 1873 and rebuilt repeatedly after hurricanes, most recently following the 1962 Ash Wednesday storm. The wooden planks are lined with saltwater taffy shops, Grotto Pizza, Dolles popcorn, and the entrance to Funland amusement park at the southern end. Bicycles are permitted on the boardwalk before 10 AM during summer months. The 2-mile beach fronting the boardwalk is guarded by a municipal lifeguard staff from Memorial Day through Labor Day. When in Rehoboth Beach it's worth considering not only but another main attraction like Funland.
