Things to Do in Bermuda

Bermuda, a British Overseas Territory 650 miles east of North Carolina, contains pink-sand beaches composed of crushed coral and pink limestone deposits. Fort St. Catherine (1614) held prisoners during the War of 1812 and now operates as a historical museum. The island chain, built on underwater seamounts 12,000 feet below the surface, was initially discovered by Spanish explorers in 1505.
