Things to Do in Key West, Florida

Key West, the southernmost point in the contiguous United States, sits approximately 160 miles southwest of Miami in Florida's warm Caribbean waters. The city hosted novelist Ernest Hemingway from 1928 to 1939, when he wrote approximately 70% of his most celebrated literary novels. The Hemingway Home contains his original 1851 oak desk and houses the world's largest population of six-toed cats.
